ABOUT US

JULIEANNE FORD

“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them”  - Walt Disney.

Walt Disney was a wise man and I wish I would have listened to him earlier. But as they say, timing is everything, right? Well, now is my time.

I’m a screenwriter and my passion is writing fiction about things that mean something to me. I want to bring awareness to important topics, but in an entertaining way. Who says we can’t learn and be entertained at the same time??

Prior to starting a career in screenwriting, I spent many years working in the high-tech world of Silicon Valley. Throughout those years, I had the opportunity to work with people from all levels of the corporate ladder. Specifically, I spent a lot of my time with the top-level executives writing perfectly crafted emails, speeches, documents, teaching manuals….you name it, I wrote it.  And I was happy to do it because it meant I got to write. Aside from that, I also spent my time following another passion of mine which was dancing for the San Francisco 49ers. Many wonderful experiences came from that opportunity which included traveling to some amazing countries and meeting some amazing people. Everything in my life, past and present, has inspired me to continue telling stories.

Other loves of mine are spending time with my family and friends, hiking with my German Shepherd, dancing around to Britney Spears, and cheering on the 49ers and Golden State Warriors.

DEVAN FORD

I grew up in the techy world of Silicon Valley and now reside in the entertainment world of Los Angeles. I’ve always had a passion for seeing stories come to life and knew it was something I wanted to make a career out of. Writing and directing have called me to relate to people in a way that most people can’t. The great Steven Spielberg once said, “I strongly believe that if you are quiet enough to listen, your dreams will speak to you.” But in order to do all of this, I had to try out every single job this industry has to offer. It’s like anything in life, you can’t make a sound decision unless you understand every side. So I went from producing to cinematography to editing to even acting, and it all taught me the value of every member on a film/television set. That is exactly how I live my life and exactly how I treat the characters in my scripts… We’re all connected.

What did Jack say? “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” Well, wise words Jack!

I also believe that too much work isn’t healthy, which is why my yelling “Curry” after I sink a 3-pointer on the basketball court or “Tiger” when I’m out on the golf course has kept me sane throughout this crazy business.

So in other words, 75% work mixed with 25% play seems like a good mix to me!

I've seen many, many movies over the years, and there are only a few that suddenly inspire you so much that you want to continue to make films.
